PRIVACY POLICY

What we collect
- Phone number — for OTP sign-in only. Never shown to other users.
- Display nickname + avatar — what other kakis see in booths and livestreams.
- Booth + livestream activity — rooms you joined, gifts sent/received, messages in-booth (held in memory only, not persisted on our servers).
- Device + push token — so "@kelvin is live" notifications reach you.
- Coin transactions — required by Malaysian financial law for 7 years.
What we DON'T collect
- Your contacts list. We never ask for your address book.
- Your location. Cities (KL/PJ/Penang) are user-selected, never device-geolocated.
- Voice recordings. Booth + livestream audio is real-time (Agora), never recorded server-side.
Cookies + tracking
This website uses no third-party analytics, no Facebook pixel, no Google Tag Manager. The mobile app uses Sentry for crash reports (with PII scrubbed) and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.
Data retention
- Profile data — until you delete your account.
- Coin transactions — 7 years (Malaysian Income Tax Act).
- Booth chats — never saved server-side. Gone when the booth closes.
- Push tokens — until you sign out or revoke.
Your rights (Malaysian PDPA 2010)
You can request a full data export or account deletion at any time. Email privacy@kakiktv.app — we process within 21 calendar days.
21+ only
KakiKTV is restricted to users 21 years and older. We collect a self-declared age confirmation; misrepresentation will result in immediate account termination + permanent device ban.
